WSOPE Main Event Starts

For the fourth time gamblers will be taken part in the Main Event of the 2010 World series of Poker Europe. The event will start on Thursday at noon local time and will be taking place at the casino at the Empire in London.

The first WSOPE was held in 2007 and was won by innocent looking 18-year old Annette Obrestad. She walked away with £1,000,000 for her inaugural televised appearance at a live tournament. The next year she was followed in victory by John Juanda who won in a record breaking 22 hour final table.

In 2009 Daniel Negreanu took the show and the question is whether another unknown youngster will again take the win.
The WSOPE consists of five bracelet events, where winning players receive bracelets like they do in the WSOP in Vegas. The main event is a £10K buy-in tournament and a six day event that will last until the 28th of September.
