The Burswood Entertainment Complex (BEC) is set to undergo a $350 million refurbishment and expansion over the next three years with premium restaurants. The Rockpool Bar & Grill will be part of the expansion, as well as premium Japanese and Italian restaurants.
The entertainment complex which is based in Perth, Australia will include a 40-metre luxury yacht and a new private gaming salon to be constructed on the roof of InterContinental Perth Burswood allowing international premium players the opportunity to play against the dramatic backdrop of the Perth City skyline and the Swan River.
The gaming company is 40 per cent owned by James Packer’s Consolidated Press Holdings Ltd. The new investment would create 450 new jobs during the next 36 months. The new investment will deliver benefits to the company from fiscal 2013.
