HOW TO PLAY
The object of Blackjack is to get as close to the number 21 by adding up the totals of the face value of the cards that you can.
Another objective to have is to beat the dealer. When you beat the dealer, you just need a point’s total of 12, instead of the full 21.
Bets are placed on the table before the cards are handed out. The dealer’s cards are in front of them with one face up, and the other face down so you do not know what they have behind the cards that you’re playing.
You’re handed two different cards, you then look at them and decide whether you want to hit or stay where you are. Depending on whether you’re close to 21, or under 12, hitting is done to add additional points to the numbers that you have. You can hit as many times as you would like. If you want to stay, you feel confident that you’re able to beat the dealer. Of course, if you go over the amount of 21, then this is known as a bust.
The dealer then will flip the other face down card that they have to show you the amount when you’re ready to stay where you are. If they total closer to 21, they win your bet, but if you’re closer then you win.
That is really all there is to the game, and it is not a hard one to get to know. You’re able to play all day long and enjoy the fast paced, thinking game that will keep you guessing.
